THE LIFE BEYOND THIS LIFE THAT IS OUR SPIRITUAL AND SACRED AND ETERNAL LIFE: THAT IS OUR DESTINY.
We live in a beautiful world. We live on a beautiful Planet Earth. We live on the bounty of our blesséd Mother Earth, our Holy Gaia. All can be good and wonderful on this sacred planet of ours that holds us dear as She turns through the eternal infinities of the cosmos. Yet so often, we can be so troubled in our lives that the beauties of our world can be difficult to discern. There can be hope and ecstasy on this Holy Earth of ours, and there can, at the same time, be dreadful sorrows, terrible anxieties, remorseless challenges. There can be pain and agony and despair. We need to understand – and this can be so difficult at times – that we are not incarnate here as if we are on a holiday. We are here to learn, and sometimes the learning can be difficult. When we are children, the best schools love us and nurture us, but they always guide us and test us. In every struggle, every painful test, there is the sacred flame of God. We are tested, and so we learn, and so we come that little bit closer to realising our own spiritual unfoldment and destiny. We are pilgrims on a sacred quest. Such quests have no meaning unless they test us. And the further we get along our path towards our sacred ONENESS with the ALL, the greater, and at times more harrowing, shall be the tests. It is so easy to become so deeply involved in our lives here on our Mother Earth, that we forget that this is not our true home, and that this life is only a tiny moment in the eternity that is our true spiritual life. The religious way can help and guide us through our tribulations. And beyond the religious way is the opening up into the mystical and sacred way that allows us to see our lives as part of the universal whole, the universal and sacred ONE, and that also helps us to achieve the same sacred and holy ONENESS with our fellow pilgrims of all faiths and no faiths. That is the meaning of our sorrows, of our trials and tribulations, and of our sacred pilgrimage back to the unity and ONENESS of God.
It is only through the struggles of being tested that we can make spiritual progress. The quest for the Grail, the Holy Path to God, is not an analytic progression, it is not obtained through the learning of our mind. The Grail Quest, the Pathway to God, the entering into communion with the ALL of Creation which is then communion with God, is an existential happening. It is an existential knowing that is both intensely human and at the same time profoundly mystical and spiritual. Such is the alchemical marriage between our mundane physical and psychological experiences and our higher order, profoundly sacred realities of the spiritual quest that is both our birthright and our destiny, that is both our sorrow and our purpose, that is both our spiritual struggle and our mystical healing, that is both our bane and our glory. And it is this profound time in humanity’s spiritual pilgrimage and awakening, that we at last are awakening to our actual physical and spiritual responsibility towards, and utter entanglement with, our Mother Earth, our Holy Gaia. We can only be truly healed when we have undertaken the great sacred pilgrimage that is our purpose and destiny, until we have embraced our planet in every aspect of our being, until we have recognised our ONENESS with our fellow pilgrims, with all the flora and fauna of our planet, with our Mother Earth, our Holy Gaia, and of course with the infinite eternity of the ONE, and of course with the higher sacred Truth of ourselves.
Only by being the ONENESS of ourselves, can we at last transcend ourselves. And such is the purpose of all the trials and tribulations of this physical plane, that test us not until we break, but until we awaken into our true radiant being.
Thesis, antithesis, synthesis.
There must be polarity.
There must be struggle.
For there must be progression:
Spiritual progression.
